The teasing of Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and Xbox One continues. Earlier this week, an online retailer posted a product page for GTA V on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One. On Sept. 11, Amazon Germany listed Rockstar’s upcoming game as a future release for next-gen home consoles, according to a report by OnPause.org on Wednesday.
The product page for Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and Xbox One was live for several hours and even had a makeshift box art available on the page – images of the posted PS4 GTA V and Xbox One box art can be viewed here.
Amazon Germany has since removed the product listing.
Rockstar Games has repeatedly dismissed the notion of Grand Theft Auto V going to PS4 and Xbox One in the near future. Many industry analysts feel that GTA V will inevitably release on next-generation consoles. Whether Grand Theft Auto 5 finds its way to PS4 and Xbox One remains unlikely. However, everyone with a PS3 and Xbox 360 can enjoy the game next week.
Grand Theft Auto V will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 17.
