The Amazon Movers and Shakers Reports are a great way to get information about new products, trending products, and seasonal products to sell on Amazon.com. The Movers and Shakers reports provide free information – it only takes some time and research to discover new products to sell and identify trending items. This report shows the top 100 gainers in sales rank by category, updated every 24 hours. So, what’s happening in April?

Easter candy is a popular trending item now, since Easter is less than two weeks away. The biggest gainer is Cadbury Easter Crème eggs, pack of 48, which jumped from 1,495 to a rank of 47. There are 10 sellers on this product, with Amazon being the lowest price at $35.44. Other popular Easter candies on the report include:

Reese’s peanut butter eggs

Jelly Belly jelly beans

Dove chocolate bunnies

Hershey’s Easter assortment of chocolate candies

Chocolate must be out of the Amazon warehouses by April 30, so expect prices to fall on meltable items as third party sellers drop prices to clear out their inventory.

Organic health foods are becoming more and more prevalent on the Movers and Shakers report. For example, Achva organic Tahini jumped from 8,670 to a rank of 218. Interestingly enough, this item is an Add-On, which usually don’t rank so high since they must be purchased with other items. Kosher tahini can be used in Passover recipes. Passover is on April 15, which may explain the sudden jump. Look for other Passover foods to be trending before the holiday. Prime buyers can order by Saturday, April 12 to receive in time for Passover.

Coffee is always a big player on the Movers and Shakers report. The most popular form of coffee on Amazon is coffee pods or K-cups. The biggest gainer is Gevalia Signature Blend coffee pods, jumping from 44,127 to 198. Amazon is the only seller of this product. An 18-count package sells for $13.03. Other brands on the report include Green Mountain, Coffee People, Starbucks, Senseo, Marley, Gloria Jean’s, and Caribou. Coffee is always a good seller, but perhaps sales are spiking now as people prepare for Easter and Passover gatherings. Learn more about selling groceries on Amazon.
