Amazon free 3D glasses with purchase of Sharp 3D HDTV proves popular

Well this must be one popular deal on Amazon.com’s website: As of this writing, the page titled “Get Two Free Pairs of 3D Glasses with Purchase of a Sharp 835-Series HDTV” shows the qualifying 3D glasses  -- the Sharp AN3DG20B 3D Glasses, Black (Single) – “currently unavailable” at this point.

Perhaps so many people availed themselves of the deal, which is good through March 3, 2012, that Amazon found themselves sold out of the deal. While they are still available at other sellers, Amazon describes that you must “Click the box to the left of an item to include it in your order. Then click the Add to Cart button to place your selected item(s) in your Cart” on that above linked-to page.

And in this instance, Amazon further describes how the customer must change the quantity to two glasses to get them free. However, with that “currently unavailable” option showing up, I’d verify whether the deal is only good when that is showing “in stock” – which it hopefully will be by the time you read this.
