Amazon made big news last week with the announcement of their new Amazon Fire smartphone, but what do you get with it, and how/where can you order one now?

This new effort from Amazon will not hot stores until July 25, but you can get in early and pre-order yours. Pre-order at AT&T-owned stores and at www.att.com now.

The Mayday function is the result of work with AT&T, while Firefly and Dynamic Perspective are something smartphone users have never experienced before.

The unique Dynamic Perspective makes use of a sensor system that reacts how you hold, view, and adjust your phone. Users can experience new apps as well as one-handed navigation. Yes, controlling your smartphone screen with one hand. Pretty cool.

Shoppers will love Firefly. This Amazon technology recognizes printed web and email addresses, phone numbers along with QR and bar codes, art, pictures, movies, music, and millions more items. All you have to do is press and hold the Firefly button.
AT&T’s NEXT program makes is easy to get a Fire in stores and on att.com.
