Amazon kicked off a digital games "Late Summer Sale" on Thursday that only has around a thousand downloadable PC games like Battlefield 3 Premium, Borderlands 2, Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified at some really cheap prices.
It would be the definition of insanity to try and list all of the deeply discounted games in Amazon's Late Summer Sale so just a handful will be highlighted.
With the Battlefield 4 beta coming at the end of September, PC gamers who want early access should check out Amazon as the retailer has the Battlefield 3 Premium Edition on sale for $19.99 and the Premium service by itself for $14.99. Either will get you into the Battlefield 4 beta when it launches along with access to all five DLC packs in Battlefield 3.
The Amazon Late Summer Sale runs through Sept. 8 but be sure to check the DRM note under the title for each game. That will tell you if Steam or Origin is required for the game or if there is no DRM at all.
