There’s a new page on Amazon Local, which may show up near the bottom of the page, whereby users can get a coupon for $30 off one Kindle Fire HD 8.9” Wi-Fi 16GB tablet, which is normally priced $229 – so that’s one more way to get a hot Kindle table for $199 as of this writing.

In order to get the deal, users can subscribe to the Amazon Local deals page, which offers a variety of national and local savings like this one. You must click the “Apply Code” button off to the right-hand side, which shows up above the terminology that states there are approximately three days to the deal left right now.

After applying the code, Amazon will have you sign into your Amazon Local account, and place your order for the code, which should read as zero dollars.

Next, Amazon will email you a receipt for the deal, which will be applied to your regular Amazon account. It will also be added to your vouchers page, and once the deal is confirmed and applied, Amazon will instruct you further on how to complete your purchase and get the deal.

With Christmas fast approaching, expect Amazon to release plenty more deals like this to help customers who want Kindle devices and other products get good deals on them.

Amazon Digital Services explains that the Kindle Fire HD 8.9” is a full-sized tablet designed for entertainment.
