Nick DeCarlo and Vicki Casciola were last at the leg 10 pit stop but were not eliminated thanks to a non-elimination leg on Sunday's episode of "The Amazing Race" season 17, I Hate Chinese Food.
Nick and Vicki were behind the entire leg, and to say they were frustrated, especially Nick, would be an understatement. Although the team was not eliminated this leg, it will be interesting to see if they survive the next leg because Nick had pretty much given up during the leg 10 Detour. He told Vicki he was physically and mentally tired, didn't care if she didn't want to quit, and didn't care if the team lost. Vicki was so upset during the Detour because Nick left her completely alone to complete the Detour, which was not an easy task. It was no surprise when Vicki gave up, opting to take the six hour penalty. She said she wanted to stay but didn't want to do it alone. Since the team was last to arrive, their six hour penalty will be applied to their departure time at the next leg.

Bangladesh to Hong Kong
Jill and Thomas were the first team to depart Bangladesh for their next stop, Hong Kong, nearly five and a half hours before the second team was allowed to leave. Brook and Claire were the last team to depart, leaving eight hours and fifty-five minutes after Jill and Thomas left. At the airport, Jill and Thomas were shocked to see Brook and Claire still around. The girls looked annoyed when they saw the team who U-turned them at the last leg and didn't buy Jill and Thomas' reasoning behind U-turning them; they told viewers and Brook and Claire that they U-turned the team because they were their biggest threat.

All of the teams were able to get on the first flight to Hong Kong; the race didn't really begin until the teams had to get on a ferry to get to their next destination. Nick and Vicki were the only team not on the first ferry, and Nick lashed out at Vicki for causing the team to miss the ferry, which put the team at least 30 minutes behind. Once again, Vicki was in tears, and Nick could've cared less, telling her to suck it up and get over it.
The leg 10 Roadblock challenged one person from each team to find one of five pieces of fake food among hundreds of pieces of food on a large buffet table. Once they found their piece of fake food, they would be given their next clue, but for every real piece of food they picked up during their search, they were forced to eat it, no matter how disgusting or terrifying the item seemed. Nat and Kat were the first to finish, closely followed by Jill and Thomas. Claire and Vicki had the most trouble during the challenge. Both had trouble finding their fake pieces, eating so much that they both ended up in the bathroom throwing up. Both eventually found their pieces, but Nick and Vicki were so far behind that they considered taking the penalty; thankfully, Vicki found the piece before they told producers they would be doing that.

For the leg 10 Detour the teams chose between searching for three signs with clues to the pit stop location while riding the Hong Kong Ramways or taking a pair of birds from the Jumbo Kingdom dock to a boat in the Aberdeen Harbour. The twist to the second Detour was that the teams had to whistle to the bird while searching for the boat with the registration number that matched the number on the bird's cage. Jill and Thomas began searching for signs but switched to the birds after becoming frustrated. It was a great switch to make because the team found the boat that matched their birds almost immediately, even before Nat and Kat, who had been searching for quite some time. Unfortunately, Jill and Thomas had trouble finding a taxi, then had trouble finding the pit stop, giving Nat and Kat, who finished the Detour not long after them, the chance to arrive at the pit stop first.
