Amazing Race Winners Dan and Jordan Pious
Pictures: Rhode Island brothers Dan and Jordan Pious won The Amazing Race 16 for $1 million dollars by beating out Jet and Cord and Brent and Caite. The Amazing Race was in their 16th season. Rhode Islanders Louie Stravato and Michael Naylor lost last week as they came in fourth place.
Brothers Beat Brothers
Dan and Jordan cut in front of Oklahoma cowboy brothers' Jet and Cord from by placing their backpacks in front of them in line at the airport even though Jet and Cord arrived before them. It gave Dan and Jordan the time advantage they needed to help them win the game. That meant Dan and Jordan from Rhode Island were able to get seats in the front of the plane. Dan and Jordan got off the plane first while Jet and Cord were stuck at the back of the plane waiting for others to move out of the way.
They were on their way home to the finish line from Shanghai China en-route to San Francisco during the season finale.

Throughout the entire race, Rhode Islanders Dan and Jordan were slightly ahead of Jet and Cord. Each challenge, detour and road block found Dan and Jordan arriving first and leaving right before Jet and Cord. The closest they came to leaving together is right before going to the finish line and the edit made it look like they left within minutes of each other. But all it takes is just those few minutes and a good cab driver to get you to the finish line first.
Jordan, who is a long time fan of the race and has religiously watched all 15 prior seasons, has had running the Amazing Race as his #1 dream and Dan went on the race to help his brother achieve that dream. When interviewed for his bio by CBS as to What he hoped to accomplish by running the Race (other than winning one million bucks), Dan replied, "Jordan always wanted to be on the Race because it was his #1 dream in life. All I really want is to make it far enough so Jordan feels as if his dream is achieved."
Making Rhode Island Proud
They are proud to call each other not only brothers, but throughout the race made sure to let everyone know that they are also best friends and fully supportive of each others dreams. The Pious brothers made Rhode Island proud. Congrats guys!

Some on the west coast hvnt seen this. Inconsiderate to post early unless u put the title as a spoiler alert instead of winners names. A few errors in the story too.
I watched the finale and don't see any errors in the story. Looks right to me.
This pretty much sucks, as the cowboys were the only ones I actually liked! :/ Bad ending to a finale.

I think that Jordan and Dan are an embarrassment to their family and friends. Not only are they cheaters when they cut in front of the line at the airport but they are poor sports. If they had been done the way they did others all you would have heard from them is a bunch of whining. They are a disgrace!

The brothers cheated all the way thru. The cowboys should have won. Our whole family watched every week. Even my 8 year old grand daughter wanted the cowboys. They were having fun and nice to each other and the other teams.
They cheated by following the detectives and beating them. If i were the detectives I wouldn't have been very happy for them.
They yelled at the cab drivers. Whinned and acted like babies.
I was very disapointed. May never watch another season.
This is a race right, there is no cheating in a race people.

@ Whiner - How is this a spoiler if it's already the day after the episode aired? Sites all over the web are reporting this win.
They may have won the race but they haven't won any friends - nobody likes cheats and unpleasant boys with bad manners.
Those RI brothers are the biggest cheater that The Amazing Race has ever put up with. Why did Caite and Brent get a time penalty for traveling down the mountain the wrong way in Chile, and those Rhode Island brothers(I won't even say their names)didn't get a penalty for traveling the wrong way(by seating 1st class on the plane to the US)
