Yolanda Tyler a proud mother of one, turned her dreams into reality when she created her “Play Lounge” Amaya Papaya located 3385 S. U.S. 17-92. Suite 269, in Casselberry, FL. Amaya Papaya opened in August of 2009 and has been the talk of the town among new moms and dads whether they're working or stay-at-home parents.

Amaya, Yolanda’s 4-year-old daughter was her inspiration. After two years of their ordinary Friday mall trips to the play area and her wanting to be able to bring her daughter to work something that she wasn’t able to do in her former career as a counselor for teenage girls. Yolanda imagined of something extraordinary. “I wanted a place where parents can chill out and have fun with their little ones,” said Yolanda, founder of Amaya Papaya.

I’m a feminist, a rebel, I believe a woman can do or be anything. I want to show my daughter I can be a mom, a wife and I can own a business." Yolanda said. “I get to run a business, bring her to work with me everyday and meet new people.”

A pleasant place where your kids can develop their imagination and be creative with its colorful walls and themed play area stations like construction zone, sensory sand box, and neighborhood square to name a few. “It’s a great place for kids to release energy and a good place to hang out and meet other moms," says Yen Lai Merrick mom to Michael, 2 and Harry 3 months old. All of the toys are age appropriate and some are even made from recycled materials. “Its cool seeing the kids making noises with the cars and making the toys work,” stated Yolanda. The admission is 10 dollars for children 1-5 years and it includes 2 free adults.

The Marketplace has a variety of unique toys and gifts for purchase that are actually used at the play lounge. Tots and Crafts and Infant/Child CPR Classes are the many classes and workshops that are offered at Amaya Papaya.

You have the option to bring in your own food or purchase economical healthy snacks and beverages. Amaya Papaya also offers exclusive party options for your little ones, which include invitations and thank you cards. Party Packages start from $100 and up.

Along with play, learn, party and shop you can participate in community services. Amaya Papaya promotes monthly activity fund-raisers to bring public awareness for the community. “It’s a way parents can do their part of community work”, said Yolanda, “and at the same time teach their kids to give to others.”
