The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet was all about the fashion and it even had some big news at the beginning of the show. Amanda Peet debuted her baby bump on the red carpet for the photographers to take pictures. According to Just Jared on Monday, the 42-year-old actress is pregnant with her third child and she was joined by husband David Benioff at the event to debut the news.
While there have been many little surprises at the Emmys red carpet, it appears that fashion is taking a backseat for some big baby news. Amanda Peet pointed to her baby bump to announce the forthcoming child and she had a huge smile on her face talking about the future. It wasn't too long ago when some critics suggested that she was too old to have another child (she certainly showed them.)
Amanda and David were gushing happily as any proud parents would do, they also looked great walking the red carpet. Amanda Peet wore a Giambattista Valli dress. The lovely gown seemed to set the tone for the two celebrities who were on their way to the Nokia to see if David would be a winner on Monday night. David Benioff is the showrunner for "Game of Thrones," which is nominated for Outstanding Drama Series this evening. With 19 nominations for the show, the man should see one or two pieces of hardware handed his direction for all his efforts.
Fans couldn't be happier for the couple. This is their third child and it appears that they are celebrating the great news with the world.
