“Hairspray” actress Amanda Bynes received a job offer from Playboy on Monday, June 3. After posting countless semi-nude photos one might believe the job offer was to pose for the magazine. Playboy didn’t offer her that type of job. Bynes was offered a spot on the Playboy Radio station via Twitter. Then on Tuesday, June 4, TMZ reported that Playboy wanted to hire Amanda Bynes for a permanent full-time position giving credit to “The Amanda Show”.

Playboy radio offered Amanda a one-week trial. If all goes well, the radio network told Bynes she could extend the contract for one year. Sounds like a dream come true for most. Playboy is willing to go out of their way to try and make Amanda feel welcome by hiring a driver to pick her up and take her to work. Bynes will even get her very own producer to help with the show’s logistics.

Sadly, Bynes declined the offer saying she would love to, but she’s already committed to recording her album. Bynes was willing to compromise, stating she would go on their show when she’s promoting her album. Bynes followers are sad it didn’t pan out; many seemed excited to follow the “queen” wherever she may go.

It’s been a rough year for Amanda Bynes; battling and on-again off-again relationship with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, trying to mend fences with Rihanna, calls Lance Bass names, shaved her head, and she was arrested. Hopefully she’ll take some time off Twitter to record her album and continue forward with a calmer life.
