Amanda Bynes sent out a possible cry for help this week when she tweeted out that she suffers from an eating disorder, which is why she has trouble staying thin. Amanda had a busy week as well playing her usual game of cat and mouse with the media, crying out that she has an imposter roaming the streets of New York posing as her. Bynes turned 27 on Wednesday, and celebrated by venturing out in public looking uncharacteristically disheveled, according to a Daily Mail report on Saturday, April 6. It seems appropriate to pause and take stock of the former child star’s top five crazy tweets of the past month.
Taking spot number five, On March 15, Amanda tweeted, “Please don't take paparazzi pictures of me I like taking my own”! Okay Amanda, surely the paps will take heed. Two days later and in fourth place she wrote, “If I'm not following you on twitter, I hate you”, nice.
The third wackiest online shout out from Bynes came on March 27 when she posted, “If you make someone look good they'll love you forever”. Does anyone know what this means?
Tying for second place, on March 31 Amanda tweeted, “When you write me on twitter and I ignore you it's because I plan on ignoring you on twitter and in life forever”. Another sweet one. And on April 2 she wrote, “Skinny's The F-ck”. What?
But although it was hard to pare down her Twitter rants to just five of the best, taking the number one spot by a wide margin came on March 21, as reported by In Touch, with the already classic, “I want @drake to murder my vagina”. What can be said here?
Amanda Bynes tweeted on Thursday, “I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin”, leaving many to speculate whether this is a potential cry for help, or just another in a long string of bizarre behavior and messages that have emanated from the former Nickelodeon star over the last year.
Radar Online reports that earlier this week, Amanda was photographed walking around NYC with a red rinse in her hair. She later posted pics of herself as a blond, with some red highlights still visible.

Along with the pictures, Bynes wrote, “My hair is blonde I’ve never been a redhead! Somebody keeps posing as me!”. The “Easy A” actress promptly deleted that tweet and then posted, “Fake or real microdermals same glasses! I don’t own those clothes and I’m blonde! Haha”!
In Touch magazine also reports that during Bynes’ recent month-long stay at New York’s W Times Square hotel, staff found her curled up in the corner of the gym with no pants on and smoking a cigarette.
“She’d come down to the lobby wearing a different wig each day,” an eyewitness told the publication. Of course her stay there was supposedly due to her being evicted from her Manhattan apartment for constant pot smoking.
Allegedly not only was Amanda incessantly smoking marijuana there, but left behind a mess of cigarette butts and dirty cotton swabs, and had changed out all of the light fixtures with red bulbs.
In December, against prosecutors’ wishes, her two hit-and-run cases were dismissed after Bynes was said to have reached a “financial” settlement with the two victims. She still faces two counts of driving on a suspended license and a DUI charge in California.
As for Amanda’s Twitter feed, of course who can forget the tweet of all tweets that perhaps started it all, the presidential plea following her DUI arrest. “Hey Barack Obama…I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end”.
One unidentified celebrity mused that at least Amanda has made Twitter fun again!
