Adding to her streak of odd behavior, Amanda Bynes stole a can of hairspray before bolting on a hair salon bill. According to Perez Hilton on April 4, Amanda recently went for a hair appointment at a New York City hair salon and ran out on the bill after allegedly stealing a can of hair spray.
The General Manager of Manhattan's "Blow", a high end New York blow dry bar, said Bynes came in last week for a hair appointment. When her credit card was declined twice for payment, she quickly fled the scene with a can of their hairspray.
The General Manager goes on to say that Bynes first spent a whole 15 minutes in the restroom before getting her hair blown. Plus, she refused to take off her sunglasses during the entire appointment. According to the GM, Bynes had bad hair extensions, and they were having to work around not only the bad extensions, but also the sunglasses.
"We gave her a great blowout," said Blow's General Manager. "We ran her credit card twice and it was declined." She also was reportedly trying to buy a can of hairspray. However, after realizing she had no way to pay her bill, she freaked, bolted out the door and took the hairspray with her.
Ironically enough, Bynes showed back up at the hair salon a couple of days later and requested another appointment. They were apparently booked up and couldn't take her. She was spotted later walking around Times Square carrying a Blow Pro bag.
Adding to her ongoing strange behavior, Bynes has reportedly been staying at a Times Square Hotel after being forced to leave her apartment due to threats of eviction. According to hotel management, Amanda has been coming down every day wearing a different wig, and she was found in the hotel gym curled up in a corner smoking. "With no pants on!", said a hotel employee.
