Amanda Bynes says she has eating disorder, has trouble staying thin

Amanda Bynes continues to use Twitter to bash the media, but also revealed that she has an eating disorder, according to MTV News on April 5.

The 27-year-old sent the tweet on Tuesday, just one day after missing her court date for driving with a suspended license. The star has been venting her rage at magazines and blogs who publish "bad photos" and who claim that she has a mental illness. She says that they take pictures any time she gains weight, then write a fake story to go with it. She sent a series of tweets,

"I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin."

"They write a news article about every tweet I write and I hate the pictures they choose. They repeat what I tweet then add a bad photo."

Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me."

"I don't read articles written about me unless I give an interview for a magazine. They're fake! Don't trust what u read on sites!"

"I'm putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on. I ask you to choose photos from my twitter so I'll do the same."

The retired celebrity stirred up headlines recently when she tweeted that she wanted rapper Drake to "murder her vagina."

Amanda Bynes is not the first celebrity to have a problem with unflattering photographs and articles being published at her. She is also not the only one to use Twitter to vent her frustrations out to the world. However, she should probably use Twitter to send a positive imagine to fans and others that look up to her. If Amanda Bynes does not want the media using her tweets to write a story, then she needs to make them a little less outrageous. What would really be great is if she could use Twitter to educate and help other young women about eating disorders and stop worrying about what everyone else is writing about her.
