Amanda Bynes moves to hotel to avoid eviction

Amanda Bynes is being evicted from her New York apartment, according to a TMZ report on Feb. 1.

The Nickelodeon star had reportedly been a nuisance to her neighbors and is described as a disrespectful rule-breaker by her landlord.

A source told the website that Bynes got a letter from the building management explaining her lease would be terminated due to complaints of marijuana smoke coming from her apartment “morning, noon and night.” The 23-year-old was also seen smoking weed in the hallways, said the source.

Bynes is reportedly not challenging the eviction from the non-smoking building. Sources say she’s simply looking for someplace else to live. Moving trucks were reportedly on-site on Feb. 1, and the actress has allegedly moved into a hotel.

This is the latest in a string of problems for the starlet. Bynes was photographed last year smoking marijuana in L.A. She also made headlines for two hit-and-run cases and a DUI charge. "US" weekly magazine is reporting that the star’s parents are “afraid for her” and have taken a hotel room adjacent to their daughter.

The former child star denied eviction rumors telling Celebuzz.com “I'm not moving. I don’t have a landlord! I don't rent! I own a condo in NY.”
