Amanda Bynes has started packing and moving out of her New York City apartment, due to a rash of complaints and a letter from the management threatening eviction. The Nickelodeon starlet, reports TMZ on Friday, Feb. 1, has come under neighborhood fire for alleged pot smoking.
Apparently the neighbors are not talking about a recreational joint now and then, but marijuana smoke wafting from her apartment “morning, noon, and night.” That burning hemp smell does get on the nerves after a while, especially in the morning, with cornflakes. Amanda Bynes, according to sources, was also seen smoking weed in the hallways. And to make matters worse, the apartment from which Amanda Bynes moves is in a non-smoking building.
Amanda Bynes has been through a series of legal problems recently, including two hit-and-run cases where the actress was driving. With a little help from her lawyers, she has settles with both victims, out of court. Otherwise, she could have found herself in a Lindsay-Lohan-style jail situation.
Right now, Amanda Bynes needs a new place to live. And she seems to need a little better control of herself and her smoking habits. Otherwise, she could find herself with even more in common with Lindsay Lohan. Or maybe she just needs to live in a neighborhood where it isn’t so easy to track down the source of the smell of burning marijuana. Obviously, something needs to change. Is this the time for her friends and family to step in?
