Amanda Bynes misses pretrial hearing on Tuesday for two misdemeanor charges

Amanda Bynes failed to appear in court on Tuesday for her pretrial hearing stemming from two misdemeanor charges. Yahoo reported on April 2 that Bynes chose to skip out on a scheduled court hearing Tuesday for charges of hit and run and driving with a suspended license.

Bynes was missing at the Burbank courthouse on Tuesday for the hearing on her two separate misdemeanor cases, however, her attorney Richard Hutton appeared on her behalf. The judge didn't take Bynes' no-show lightly, and made it clear that only one more continuance will be granted in her driving on a suspended license case.

The judge also stressed to Bynes' legal representation that he needed to get on with wrapping up the suspended license case that has been ongoing since Bynes received two counts of driving on a suspended license in October of 2012. Bynes initially lost her license due to several unpaid tickets in September 2012, and her car was impounded following the October charges of driving with no license. The judge has set her new pretrial hearing date for May 2.

In other Amanda Bynes' news, she has reportedly dyed her hair red. This new hair color comes shortly after Bynes dyed her hair blonde in a makeover that rendered her almost unrecognizable. The former "What I Like About You" star was spotted in New York City on Tuesday running errands dressed down in a t-shirt and sandals with magenta-colored hair and appeared to be trying to ignore the photographers following her around.
