Amanda Bynes leaves filth trail after move: Parents now by her side and worried (Video)

Amanda Bynes’ latest troubles concern where she’s going to live after apparently being evicted from her New York City apartment on Friday. The troubled 26 year-old retired actress has moved into a downtown Manhattan hotel for now, according to a report in Us Weekly yesterday. Amanda Bynes was evicted over smoking weed and cigarettes in the non-smoking building, and allegedly left behind a mess when she moved out. Her parents are said to be worried about her and just arrived in the city to be by her side.

A source told Us that Amanda Bynes smoked marijuana and cigarettes “morning, noon and night” in her apartment and even in common area hallways. The “Easy A” actress refused to stop and was sent an eviction notice.

TMZ reported Bynes got a letter from building management early last month explaining that her lease would be terminated because she's a building nuisance. Instead of fighting the decision, Amanda decided to just pack up and leave.

After Amanda moved out, her apartment was found littered with Marlboro Light cigarette butts and dirty Q-tips, according to an insider. Bynes’ parents have now arrived in New York and taken a hotel room adjacent to their daughter’s.

The parents are said to be “afraid for her” according to another source close to the situation. Amanda has a history of past bizarre behavior, and was photographed smoking drugs in her car in L.A. last fall.

In December, against prosecutors’ wishes, her two hit-and-run cases were dismissed after Bynes was said to have reached a “financial” settlement with the two victims. She still faces two counts of driving on a suspended license and a DUI charge in California.
