On June 14 Amanda Bynes,27, decided to explain her public meltdown and arrest to her friend, Jonathan Jaxson. Jaxson and Bynes have been friends for a very long time. After Amanda sent him a text explaining the current situation, Jaxson posted it on Twitter for everyone to see and decide for themselves, according to Daily Mail.

Amanda sent a series of text that read, “All of this has been an act and you know it! I am an actress and know what I am doing.”

There have been many who felt Bynes had nothing wrong with her and many of her antics were just a case of being at the wrong place and the wrong time. When Bynes would realize people were paying attention she would do stupid things on purpose. Things spiraled out of control thanks to the constant media attention.

Jaxson replied with, “Seriously? I mean don’t you know that drugs were apart of it and you may also have something mentally wrong?”

Amanda gave one simple reply, “I got 2 million followers and now everyone wants me. I am smart and not stupid. Everyone mentions my name. The world loves me.”

At present time Amanda Bynes has 2.1 million followers. That’s roughly a 2 million increase in since her tanning escapade back in November.

What do you think; is it all an act for media attention or is it something more?
