Amanda Bynes knows when to pick her battles, and has preempted her eviction from her apartment. The 26-year-old troubled star was faced with an eviction threat by her building management who claim that she is a “disrespectful rule- breaker,” according to a Feb. 1 TMZ report.
A source tells the publication that “Bynes got a letter from building management earlier this month explaining that her lease would be terminated, because she's a building nuisance.”
The building management reportedly made the decision to evict the actress after getting several complaints of marijuana smoke coming from her apartment “morning, noon and night.” Sources say Bynes has also been seen smoking marijuana in the hallways of the building.
Instead of challenging or fighting the building management’s decision, Brynes decided to move out without incident.
This is not the first time the actress has come under marijuana scrutiny. According to TMZ she was photographed smoking marijuana in Los Angeles last year. She has also been arrested for an alleged hit-and-run and DUI.
