Amanda Bynes court case continued until May

Amanda Bynes got lucky yesterday. According to an April 2 Toronto Sun report, Bynes was granted a continuance in court after not showing up as scheduled to discuss the charges of driving without a license she’s facing.

The new court date is set for May 2 and the judge made it very clear to Amanda’s attorney that it is the last time a continuance will be issued. The case has been in the court system since October when Bynes pled “not guilty” to charges of driving with a suspended license – twice.

The infractions occurred in California, but Amanda has since moved to New York City. This is clearly a good move for her, since there is less need to drive a car or have a valid license in the city.

Amanda Bynes is celebrating her 27th birthday today. Fans are hoping to see Amanda mature and show more mental clarity this year.
