Amanda Bynes has been silent on Twitter for months now. On Mar. 1 just after midnight, Bynes broke that Twitter silence to send a message to her fans.

Hi everyone! I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda

This is the first message that Amanda Bynes has tweeted since leaving rehab in December 2013. Bynes was entered into rehab involuntarily in August. She has been released into the care of her mother and continues to receive outpatient treatment.

Bynes was known for tweeting some shocking things during a tumultuous 2013. Her questionable tweets included calling other celebrities and fans ugly as well as a slew of disturbing tweets aimed at singer Drake. Rumor has it that Bynes is embarrassed and appalled at the tweets she sent while sick.

Curiously, several of Bynes' questionable tweets from 2013 seem to be missing from her Twitter account along with the pictures she had previously posted. Is the former Nickelodeon star trying to clean up the mess she made? It looks like the "Hairspray" star is trying to start over and rebuild her image.
