Bravo hasn't made a decision on whether it'll renew "Princesses Long Island" for a second season but it seems that one of the show's stars, Amanda Bertoncini, is down for returning for a second season as well as starring in her own show.
On Sunday, Jan. 29, Amanda retweeted a tweet that a fan sent to her and Bravo, writing that she should have her own show. She not only retweeted it, she asked someone what the show should be named.
That same day, she also retweeted a tweet from another fan who wrote to her and Bravo that he's shocked that she doesn't have her own show.
Bravo's "Princesses Long Island" attracted quite a bit of controversy in its first season. It was accused of playing up to Jewish stereotypes and glamorizing the spoiled life. Despite, or perhaps because of, the controversy, it found an audience. So will there be a second season?
Another star of the show, Chanel Omari, recently spoke to Wetpaint Entertainment on the possibility of the show returning and who would be back. She said that the cast will hopefully know of Bravo's decision by February or March. She also said that she's "pretty sure everyone in the cast will be down for a second season."
If the show does return, one thing that'll remain the same is that there will be conflicts within the group. Chanel said that since season one ended, they "have all definitely been through [their] ups and downs within [their] friendships."
