Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Colder air has filtered in this morning changing rain over to some freezing rain with some light ice accumulation, some locations may see a brief period of snow that could lead to one inch or less of accumulation. Use caution when driving this morning. A small snowstorm will track SE of the region tonight giving everyone SE of Cincinnati and along the Ohio River a quick wet 3 to 5 inches of snow tonight so use caution if driving that way. Cold air will continue in tomorrow and stay intrenched through Tuesday. Current forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday's storm is for it to track just SE of I-71. This would put the region in an snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain combo changing to snow on the back side. Some locations along and SE of I-71 could see a period of just rain. This would cut down on snow totals significantly. However if this storm track is further SE than higher snow totals could be felt. Stay tuned as there are several more model runs to be analyzed. This storm has the potential to bring significant impacts to the region.

Behind this storm arctic air will make a return with highs in the teens and lows in the single digits.
