Alyssa Milano responds to Jay Mohr’s post-baby body criticism

Alyssa Milano is calling out comedian Jay Mohr after his recent criticism of her weight, according to a Jan. 2 Us Weekly report.

Mohr recently commented on Milano’s post-baby body weight after the two attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards gala, quipping, “She was one of the presenters. She's very tiny, in height...It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don't really give a s--t'...I read it on her gut.”

He continued, with the jabs. “Somebody sat in the director's chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.’”

According E! News, the “Whose the Boss” and “Mistresses” star took the classy route. Instead of coming out swinging, she tweeted, “@jaymohr37 So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife.”

The 40-year-old actress added a note a appreciation to fans who came to her defense, writing, “You're all lovely. Thank you for your kind words. #Appreciative.”
