Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel is not only a 2009 live-action/CGI comedy film and sequel to Alvin and the Chipmunks, it is a sing along as well.
The film stars Jason Lee, Zachary Levi, David Cross, and Wendie Malick, including the voices of Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Christina Applegate, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris and Amy Poehler.
The film features Alvin and the Chipmunks and their female counterparts. The film is based on the scenario of a mishap that lands Dave in the hospital.
As a result, the Chipmunks take a break from superstardom and enroll in school to fit in with kids their age. They soon face some stiff competition when they meet the Chipettes - a beautiful, talented trio of chipmunks discovered by Ian, the boys’ evil ex-manager!
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel will be available on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download on March 30th, 2010. The Double DVD Pack includes “The Squeak Along” Bonus Disc and all new singalongs.
