Did you ever want a product that could heal multiple ailments? A product that can heal what ails your hair and skin as well as safe enough to help heal what distresses you physically and spiritually. Well, there is one. It is called Althaea Coffee Oil. Now please note that I am not advocating that people stop using their normal medications or other products for any conditions that this product claims to be beneficial. However, I would like to make people aware that some alternative therapies can be very effective in helping treat problems as well as create a healthier, younger and more vital you.

The word Althaea is a Greek word meaning “to heal”. It is also the official name for the marshmallow plant. The marshmallow plant is an upright perennial with a fleshy taproot, downy stems and velvety leaves with a pale pink flower in the summer. The flowers and young leaves of the plant can be eaten and are often added to salads or are boiled and fried. The root extract was once used to make the popular marshmallow sweets many of us have enjoyed. The roots and stem secrete a mucilage which are used as an imperative ingredient in many cosmetic treatments. The root has also been used since Egyptian antiquity as a honey-sweetened confection useful in the treatment of sore throats.

Internally, the Althaea leaf is used to treat inflammation and ulceration of the digestive tract as well as oral and pharyngeal mucosa associated with dry cough. It is also used to relieve irritation of the mucus membranes of the mouth, throat and gastrointestinal tract as well as helping with many respiratory complaints associated with bronchitis and asthma. The root is also of value in treating cystitis and hiatus hernia.

Externally, Althaea is used for localized skin irritations such as boils, abscesses, burns, sores, skin ulcers, eczema and minor injuries. It also helps minimize the skin’s inflammatory process making it useful for fighting skin degeneration as well as promoting cellular oxidation thereby reducing skin aging and improving wound healing. Its non-oily softening properties can also nourish the hair to help promote flexibility and resilience combating dandruff and split ends as well as promoting hair growth and providing a natural shine to dull hair follicles.

Spiritually, Althaea is the most highly respected species. The whole herb including roots, leaves, flowers and seeds are useful and edible and in previous times were regularly eaten as vegetables. In addition, Althaea is so cooling and soothing that it has been added to incense mixtures for spiritual rites. Indeed, in Italy and Spain, it was held that a daily draft of this magnificent herb would preserve one against any illness at all. While this sound a little bit too good to be true, the Althaea plant soothes a great variety of conditions and is worth remembering.

Althaea Coffee Oil is an all-natural product that utilizes this sweet, mucilaginous herb that is used to treat troubling hair conditions, skin problems as well as help ease physical afflictions. Althaea Coffee Oil is known as a holistic healing oil that contains many vitamins and minerals that can treat many conditions.

It should be noted however, that although I support the notion of taking responsibility for one's own well-being, it is important to know that not all herbs are safe to use in all circumstances. Special cautions may apply when suffering from certain medical conditions and when taking synthetic prescription drugs. Research and familiarize yourself with any herb you intend to use and make sure you are aware of all special cautions that may apply.

The information given here is intended for educational purposes only and is not intended to replace a visit to a medical professional where this is necessary. In addition, pregnancy is a very special time. If chosen wisely, herbs can give tremendous support throughout the entire process. However, due to the vulnerability and sensitivity of the unborn child, it is especially important to make sure that the herbs you are using are safe. (This also applies during the time of breast-feeding as all substances ingested by the mother are processed and passed on with the mother's milk). Many herbs may be useful during the latter stages of pregnancy or during labor, but could be dangerous during the first few months. It is important for you to inform yourself - don't risk regret.
