Alternate art Browbeat from 'Duel Decks: Sorin vs. Tibalt' (Photos)

Browbeat is one of several notable cards with new artwork featured in the Tibalt deck of "Duel Decks: Sorin vs Tibalt." Originally printed in "Judgment," this powerful and iconic uncommon red sorcery spell punishes your opponents with a "choice" between taking damage or letting you game card advantage.

Sorcery (Uncommon)
Any player may have Browbeat deal 5 damage to him or her. If no one does, target player draws three cards.

"Pained defiance or shameful surrender--every reaction is a pleasant surprise."
-Tibablt

The drawback to Browbeat is that you have no control over which option your opponent selects. In most instances Browbeat will deal five damage, and knocking out a fourth of a player's life total for three mana is a significant amount of value. When they're at five or less life you'll get three cards - hopefully getting another burn spell or threat that will be able to send your adversary to their grave.

Browbeat would go on to receive new art as a Friday Night Magic card, be reprinted in "Timespiral" as a time-shifted card, be featured as a special foil in "Premium Deck Series: Fire and Lightning," and also appear in "Planechase."

How will you use Browbeat?
