Blightning is one of several notable "Magic: The Gathering" cards with new artwork featured in the Tibalt deck of "Duel Decks: Sorin vs Tibalt" by Wizards of the Coast.

Blightning deals 3 damage to target player. That player discards two cards.
In the spirit of inquiry, Tibalt applied a battery of agony spells. They yielded nothing on the vampire's whereabouts, but the screams were reward enough.
Originally printed in "Shards of Alara," this powerful and iconic common sorcery spell brutalizes you adversary by forcing them to discard two cards and take three damage for just three mana.
Blightning was commonly played for free off of a Bloodbraid Elf, which was a brutal result for any unlucky player on the receiving end.
This marks the third artwork for Blightning. The second was when Blightning was the subject of a full art Magic Player Reward (MPR) card.
