Alt-J announce summer 2013 North American tour dates

On Feb. 25 the English indie rock band Alt-J announced on their Facebook page headlining tour dates for the summer of 2013. The North American tour begins on Aug. 29 in Oakland, Calif. and ends on Sept. 29 in Dallas. The band also announced spring tour dates that revolve around their North American festival appearances.

During Alt-J's summer 2013 North American tour the band will perform 14 concerts over a month long time span. This spring they will perform at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Governors Ball Music Festival, Sasquatch! Music Festival, and at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

This spring and summer Alt-J will be touring in support of their debut studio album, "An Awesome Wave" which was released in the U.S. on Sept. 18, 2012 via Canvasback/Atlantic Records.
