Introduction: Sam and Sue are a brother and sister spy team. They help characters solve problems. Cathy has lost her cat. Since cat begins with the letter C, Sam and Sue call in their good friend Cory Camel to help them solve the case.

Cathy entered the building and found the office of Sam and Sue, the brother and sister spy team. She knocked on their office door. KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Come in," invited Sue.

"May we help you?" inquired Sam.

"I'm Cathy."

"I'm Sam and this is my sister Sue. How may we help you, Cathy?"

Cathy said, "I've lost my cat."

"You've lost your cat?" Sue responded. "Now that's too bad."

"Tell us about your cat, Cathy," Sam urged.

Cathy said, "My cat's name is Callie. She's a beautiful pure white cat."

"When did you last see your cat?" Sue asked.

Cathy said, "Just yesterday. When I woke up, I let Callie go outside to play like I usually do. Then I went off to school. But when I came home from school, she was nowhere to be found. She never came home for dinner. She never came home to sleep. I'm afraid I will never see her again." Cathy began to cry.

Sue said, "Don't cry, Cathy. We'll find her. But we are going to need some help. Since cat begins with the letter C, we will ask our special friend, Cory Camel, to come and help us."

Cathy sniffed. "How can a camel help us find my cat?"

Sam instructed, "My dear Cathy, Cory Camel is very special. He is seven feet tall. That means that if we ride on his back, we will be very tall indeed. We will be able to see long distances. He also can walk one hundred miles per day, so we will be able to search far and wide for that white cat of yours. And since Cory Camel has only one hump, there will be room for all three of us to ride upon his back."

Sue called Cory Camel on her special animal telephone. Within an hour, all three of them were riding on Cory's back, searching for Callie the cat.

Cory Camel first took them to Cathy's house. There was no sign of the cat. Sam and Sue noticed that there were woods behind Cathy's house. Cory Camel immediately entered the woods and began his search-and-explore mission. His ears picked up the sound of an animal in distress.

Soon Cory brought them to the foot of a rather large tree. And there, with her foot wedged in between two branches, was Callie the cat.

"My cat!" Cathy exclaimed. "How are we going to get her down?"

Sam looked the tree over and said, "That's simple. You and Sue get down. Then I will carefully stand on Cory's back, and I believe I will be able to just reach your cat."

Unfortunately, Sam was a foot too short.

Sue said, "I have an idea. Cathy, do you think you could sit on Sam's shoulders?"

Cathy said, "Yeah, I think so."

"Good. We'll both get up on Cory's back. I'll help you climb up on Sam's shoulders. Then you can reach your cat and get her down. I will be right here to help you both keep your balance so that you won't fall."

Sue turned to Cory Camel then and asked, "Cory, is that okay?"

Cory nodded his head up and down to show his agreement to the risky plan.

Cory Camel first got down on his knees so that Sue and Cathy could climb up on his back. Sam was closest to Cory's neck. Cathy was behind him. Sue was closest to Cory's tail.

First Sue stood up. She helped Cathy climb up on Sam's shoulders. Then Sam very carefully stood up. Cathy went up and up and up. Now she was at just the right level to reach her cat. She spread the branches that had pinched the cat's foot. Callie was so relieved to be free. First she licked Cathy on the hand. Then she ran up the branch and down the trunk of the tree.

Slowly, Sam sat down. Sue helped Cathy to slide off of Sam's back.

After all three of them were safely sitting on Cory's tall back, Cory got down on his knees so that Cathy could slide to the ground.

"Thank you, Cory Camel," Cathy exclaimed. "Thank you, Sam. Thank you, Sue. I need to take Callie home now to give her some food. She must be starved."

Cathy ran off with Callie the cat bounding along beside her. Cory stood back up and took Sam and Sue back to their spy office.

Sam and Sue both praised Cory Camel for a job well done. Then they too slid off of Cory Camel's tall back and re-entered their office.

Cory Camel walked off feeling proud that he had helped solve another case.
