Just over the bridge from paradise (Indian Rocks Beach) is a great little nature park.
Known as "the turtle park" for its abundant aquatic turtle population, McGough Nature Park is located at 11901 146th Street North. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and stroll through the shady oak hammock or through the mangroves along the intercoastal waterway. Make sure you visit the nature center which houses live animal exhibits and hands-on activities for children. The park offers several environmental education programs. I have spent a few days here just watching the turtles sunbath. You can see rabbits, turtles, heron, etc... Your next lunch break go sit with the turtles. I'm telling you it's a great stress reliever...
