Aloe Vera ice cubes soothes and cools the burn

Summer news flash that is necessary for everyone this year. The temperatures have been at an all time high in so many areas. The humidity has been thicker than pea soup. The combination of the two and outdoor activity can cause serious burns from the sun without even realizing it.

Pure Aloe Vera is the best solution for sunburn. It can be applied as a lotion or as a gel. A wonderful herbal remedy used to soothe sunburn and naturally bring the plants moisturizing properties out to soften the skin. The bottles of gelled Aloe Vera are much better for your skin. It doesn’t contain additional chemicals, fragrances or moisturizers.

On days when sunscreen just doesn’t seem to do the trick, you forget to bring the bottle with you on a trip or you’re so busy you forget to reapply the required SFV again we have an easy solution to help heal the burn.

Take pure Aloe Vera in the gel form and pour it into ice cube trays. Place the ice tray in the freezer overnight. On those days when the burn sneaks up on you there will be an Aloe Vera ice cube just waiting to be applied to the overheated reddened areas of your skin.

The Aloe Vera gel by itself is soothing to sunburns. Having some frozen on hand will just aid in making that burn feel much better faster. The icy coolness will pull more of the heat from the damaged skin to bring relief sooner.

We recommend that the gel type of Aloe Vera be used for it contains some water which makes it much easier to freeze. The gel has a greenish coloring to it but when applied to the skin it is as if it was clear. Since it doesn’t contain moisturizers it will freeze quicker and won’t leave a greasy film on the skin once applied.

Always remember to carry a bottle of sunscreen with you when you travel to the beach, flea markets, on hiking trips or picnics. It is a good idea to bring a bottle outside when spending the day on an open deck or pool side.

Always apply sunscreen before you head outdoors. Make a mental reminder that you need to reapply the sunscreen after so many hours. Each sunscreen brand has their own recommended times to follow. Doing so will help prevent your skin from serious sunburns.

But, just in case you do forget or the sun was just too strong that day knowing there are frozen Aloe Vera gel ice cubes in the freezer to bring instant relief is an advantage to this heated condition.

Stay safe and protected this summer!
