People with organic heart transplants are dying, and not of natural causes. Overall the case is alright. The makeup of this organization is a little difficult to follow. It has many parts, and this is all revealed at the end, meaning that the writers don’t get the chance to fully explain all of this. There is a little bit more of a team element in this episode. Hopefully, the writers will continue to showcase the ensemble. The multiple interrogations are fantastic, especially since Valerie and Richard take the lead on those. They are interesting characters. All the writers need to do is to give them a chance to shine.
Dorian takes another DRN under his wing. He sees 494 working in the hospital, and decides that he deserves the chance to be a cop. This has great potential. The writers could have taken the time to highlight any differences between Dorian and 494. However, if they didn’t want to have great differences, then the writers could have dialed up features that make the DRN different. There are some great moments with the two DRNs and John. It’s a hilarious scene with them in the car. The highlight of the storyline is when 494 tells Dorian about the kid he rescued. Did you enjoy having two DRNs in an episode?
