An undercover cop is found murdered with a bunch of illegal drugs in the trunk of the car. There was never a doubt that the cop, Cooper, was clean. If the writers intended for people to question it, well it didn’t work. There is a good twist that the identity of The Bishop is not who everyone thought it was, but once it is revealed that there has to be a connection to the police, it is obvious that Captain Barros is the man. He made a prominent appearance earlier in the episode. Who else would it have been? Did you enjoy the case?

Rudy gets sent undercover! As it turns out, he is quite the drug cooker. The writers could have gone into his background a little bit more. Obviously he knows a thing or two about chemistry, since he cooked the best batch of The Bends ever to be produced. The writers choose to make Rudy’s accomplishments and intelligence a little more subtle. It’s up to the viewers to pick up on Rudy’s skill level. In addition to be awesome at making drugs, Rudy provides a good bit of humor to the episode. It’s nice to see humor come from someone other than Dorian, especially since Rudy’s humor is a bit awkward. All in all, it’s not difficult to fall in love with Rudy during this episode. What did you think of Rudy?

Hello secondary characters! Detective Stahl, Richard, and Rudy all get significantly more air time in this episode. In fact, there is a scene with all three of them in it without John or Dorian present. It’s about time that they got some air time. They are a very amusing group to watch. There’s a great balance in personalities. This episode also showcase more of this group’s specialties and more of their background. Richard actually managed to be useful. He was only slightly an asshole. Did you enjoy seeing more of Detective Stahl, Richard, and Rudy?
