Allstate donates to Autism Speaks

One in 110 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism, according to statistics from the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. To help the cause, Northbrook-based Allstate is raising money for Autism Speaks, aiming to raise $500,000, with their “Quotes for Autism Speaks” program.

From November 14 through December 31, Allstate will donate $10 for every insurance quote that is completed. To obtain a quote, visit AutismSpeaks.org/Allstate or call 866-998-4488 and mention Autism Speaks.

Allstate executive vice president of marketing and sales operations Mark LaNeve serves on the board of directors for Autism Speaks. LaNeve has a personal reason to help the organization, his twin boys who both have autism.

Autism is a complex disorder of brain development. Autism Speaks, which began in 2005, is the world’s largest autism science and advocacy organization.

In addition to helping this organization, Allstate is celebrating its 80th anniversary as an insurer and is the nation’s largest publicly held personal lines insurer.
