Kenneth L. Johnson is a diversity recruiting expert with access to the largest database of diversity talent in the Philadelphia region. I also serve as President of one of the area’s top recruiting firms and write as the Philadelphia Career Coach Examiner. Over the past two years through my company East Coast Executives and a partnership with the Urban League of Philadelphia we have matched over 200 diversity professionals with new jobs and provided career assistance to thousands. This month the Philadelphia Business Journal recognized East Coast Executives in the annual listing of the Top Executive Search Recruiting Firms as the top diversity focused recruiting firm in the region (PA-NJ-DE). Our goal is to maintain that position and we believe that this format provided by the Examiner has allowed us to strengthen our brand not only in Philadelphia but nationally.
This article serves as an open letter of “Thanks” to my readers. Because of you, January 2013 produced my personal best in readership numbers since starting this column in November 2010. I currently rank in the Top 5 of Workplace Culture Examiners nationally. This is an outstanding accomplishment considering all of the talented Examiners that consistently provide great workplace content to the readers. I continue to encourage you the reader to provide feedback and suggestions on future topics and I also appreciate receiving reviews from those who have attended the events presented in the column. I hope to meet and possibly assist many of you on your career path in 2013.
