Writing about oneself is no easy task. I find myself filling social media bios in a series of adverbs and adjectives. Anything more specific feels self righteous. Then I think of how I have been selected by Examiner --and just celebrating my two years as a writer, and I realize how important it is to share who I am and my purpose.
From estranged family, dysfunctional lovers and faulty friends I have seen and experienced a great deal of broken relationships. I continued to endure less than fabulous relationships because I didn't have the best relationship with myself. It has been inspirationally quoted time and time again that one can't embrace love without loving themselves first. The road to self-love can be a tough one because for some, like myself, the things we are conditioned to believe often contradict what it takes to love on yourself. Sure, maturity has played a prominent part in my journey. Making mistakes. Having revelations. Being inspired and exposed to where I want to be. Seeking professional help has been beneficial too.
I'm no expert, rather an explorer of love, relationships and beauty. I'd like to share my experiences bettering myself in order to be better to others. I'll seek the expertise of professionals and not only share tips on feeling good but looking good too! Consider this the place to be for an all encompassing look at being extraordinary... on your terms.
