According to a Jan. 2 report from Pollstar, the Allman Brothers Band is set for a ten-night stint at the iconic Beacon Theatre in New York City, New York.
The Beacon Theatre stint by the Allman Brothers Band is scheduled for March 1-2, March 5-6, March 8-6, March 12-13 and March 15-16. The Beacon Theatre shows will be the band's first New York City appearances of 2013.
“Yes, it’s that time,” Allman Brothers Band keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter Greg Allman said of the Beacon Theatre dates. “The Beacon run is always magical. The room sounds great, lots of familiar faces and the band really stretches out. After Macon, New York is really our second home. There’s just something about it, and our fans know it.”
Tickets go on sale to the public Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. EST. For more information on the Allman Brothers Band's upcoming tour, check out AllmanBrothersBand.com.
The Allman Brothers Band comes to the Beacon Theatre almost every year. In the past, legends like Eric Clapton, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bruce Hornsby, Billy Gibbons, Jimmy Herring, Widespread Panic, Taj Mahal and Johnny Winter, have shared the stage with them.
The Allman Brothers will also be performing at Eric Clapton’s annual “Crossroads” benefit show, which takes place April 12-13 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Allman Brothers Band has been grooving and jamming since the 1970s, a decade that saw them accomplish great success in touring across the United States.
