Known as the "Reptile Capital of the World" Alligator Adventure allows you to see animals up close but still feel safe. Some of the animals you will see include alligators, snakes, Galapagos tortoises, frogs, lizards, turtles, tropical birds, crocodiles, tigers, cats, lemurs, bats and bobcats.
Alligator Adventure is home to the World's largest crocodile--Utan, King of the Crocs. Utan measures in at 20 feet long and weighs in at more than 1000 pounds. Alligator handlings and lectures are offered at all times of the day, giving you and your family the opportunity to touch these amazing animals. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and does not mind taking pictures.
Walking across wooden bridges over ponds with live animals below makes you feel that you have wandered into the Everglades. The lay out of Alligator Adventure is family friendly. The animls are not spaced too far apart which allows younger children the chance to walk the park and not become overly exhausted and keep their attention. Cooling mists were located in several areas of the park so don't let the heat keep you away!!
Ticket prices are affordable making it possible for even larger families to experience this wonderful adventure. Adults are $18.99, Seniors $16.99, Kids 4-12 $12.99, and children 3 and under are free. The 2nd day is free so don't feel like you have to cover the entire park in one day. Alligator Adventure also offers free admission for all active military personnel. Their guests also receive 1/2 off admission--up to 3 guests.
