Allen Wranglers and Terrell Owens say....Get your popcorn ready!

OK yes, now it is official. The Allen Wranglers of the IFL (Indoor Football League) have come an agreement with Terrell Owens to play the 2012 season with the Wranglers.

There is still a question of Owens will be playing in the road games, but he will be in uniform at the home games at the Allen Event Center located in Allen, Texas.

Jon Frankel, the owner of the Wranglers, and I have had discussion in an interview last week, that this is a very misleading situation. It isn’t why would Owens play for only $500,000, but why wouldn’t he if he was part owner.

Sonny Clark of Examiner.com originally broke this story regrading the misconception of the estimated worth of this contract with Owens and the Allen Wranglers as a player/owner in an exclusive interview with team owner Jon Frankel.

Frankel has estimated the value of this player/owner agreement could be worth to close to an estimated value of $5 million.
