Alleged Schwarzenegger mistress files $40 million lawsuit over love child claims

A $40 million dollar defamation lawsuit has been filed against 3 major media outlets by Arnold Schwarzenegger’s former flight attendant over false accusations that she was his mistress and the mother of his secret lovechild, according to OCWeekly and New York Magazine.

Tammy Tousignant, who worked for 12 years as a Schwarzenegger’s personal flight attendant on his private jet, is filing the multi-million dollar lawsuit on behalf of herself, her husband Tom, and Tanner and Connor, their two sons.

Falsely Accused Despite Contradictory DNA Evidence

Despite the existence of DNA tests which prove that Tammy’s husband, Tom Tousignant, not Arnold Schwarzenegger, is the biological father of her son, Tanner, stories were published in Gawker, the National Enquirer, and the Daily Mail falsely identifying Tammy as the “former Schwarzenegger employee” with whom Schwarzenegger had fathered a child. Not only were stories published falsely accusing Tammy of being Schwarzenegger’s mistress, but pictures of Tammy, and of her son, Tanner were used.

But Tammy and her family are now suing Gawker, the National Enquirer, and the Daily Mail for defamation by libel, invasion of privacy and misappropriation of image and likeness.

Since the stories with the false allegations emerged, Tammy’s life, and the lives of her husbands and two sons, have become a living hell.

On behalf of the Tousignant family, a lawsuit has been filed in the California courts.

How the False Accusations of Tammy Came About

When Arnold Schwarzenegger issued an official statement to the Los Angeles Times stating that he fathered a child out of wedlock with former employee, the mother of his lovechild was not named.

In addition to concealing the identity of the woman with whom he’d fathered the child, Schwarzenegger was vague about when the child was conceived, only stating that the infidelity occurred “over a decade ago.” See Schwarzenegger Confesses to Fathering a Child with Member of Household Staff .

As typical of celebrity sex scandals, speculation immediately began as to who the unnamed mother of Schwarzenegger’s lovechild might be.

Gawker named Tammy Tousignant as the mystery woman, based on false stories about her published in the Daily Mail and the National Enquirer in 2003, Tammy’s former association with Schwarzenegger as his flight attendant, and the fact that the general time frame of the lovechild’s alleged conception seemed to fit.

The woman turned out to be recently retired Mildred Patty Baena, who worked as a housekeeper for the Schwarzenegger for over 20 years. Gawker was contacted by Tammy Tousignant’s attorney, who informed them that Tammy had a paternity test done 7 years ago to prove that rumors that Schwarzenegger was her son’s father were false.

Gawker later printed a retraction, stating that they were mistaken. But the damage was already done.

Statement from Tammy Tousignant’s Attorney

In a statement to RadarOnline, Tammy Tousignant’s attorney, Thomas E Anthony said:

'I will confirm the following: the Tousignant child was no "love child" involving anyone other than the parents of the child, Tammy and her husband, Tom Tousignant.

'Arnold Schwarzenegger was not the biological father of the Tousignant child.

All scientific tests confirmed that Mr. Tousignant was the biological father of the child.'

On July 28, a lawsuit was filed in Orange County (California) Superior Court.
