Alleged revenge-seeking Santa Barbara college student shoots six in cold blood

The recent massacre (watch the video) by an alleged deranged college student has left those of us living in SoCal stunned and shocked. It happened near Santa Barbara, a quite town hardly known for crime or mass murders, where many Angelenos head for weekend escapes. A young man posted threatening messages on blogs and YouTube saying he wanted to get “revenge”. It’s all over the media, newspapers on line, CNN where ever you set your browser such as

Those of us familiar with over-privileged children from upscale areas of SoCal such as Pacific Palisades and other West LA environs and areas of Santa Barbara have heard the plaint before about spoiled kids that permeates all the messages left by alleged suspect in the deaths of six (or more, statistics are still coming in) people in a mass shooting near the University of California.

According to all the news sources this Examiner has been viewing, listening to and reading, “Elliot Rodger (now deceased) was identified by his father Peter Rodger, through attorney Alan the shooter.” The father was the assistant director for one of the “Hunger Games” films. What do all these mass shootings mean? Should we arm ourselves with bullet-proof vests before leaving our homes? There has just been way too many arbitrary killings, guns do kill people if I may express my anti-gun opinion.
