Recently Sony invited consumers to “See the Future” with their big announcement coming later this month. Posted on their blog and released to the world a 40-some second video revealed little else than a date; Feb. 20, 2013.
From analysts and journalists to video game enthusiasts, people are looking forward to what Sony has to say. Speculation is that they’ll be announcing details about the alleged PS4. It’s likely the next-gen console is what their creating all the hype about. With this timing the possible new console will be able to deal a fatal blow to the floundering Wii U and get a leg up on the Xbox 720.
The best part about this announcement from Sony is that it will be live streamed from New York City allowing everyone to be a part of what may be a momentous occasion. Presumably the stream will be hosted on the Sony blog and viewers will be able to interact with each other via an online chat feature. The announcement will be made Feb. 20, 23:00 GMT/ 8:00 EST/15:00 PST. Tune in to find out the future of Sony and possibly video game consoles.
