It’s Facebook’s world we’re all just riding in it so let’s start with news from Zuckerberg and company.
Mark Z. and his wife Priscilla will hold a fundraiser at their home in Palo Alto in February for…Chris Christie. Yup you heard that right. It turns out they really like the big fella.
Facebook spokesperson Sarah Feinberg offered this as part of their statement on the matter. “Mark and Priscilla are happy to host Governor Christie at their home to support his reelection." It’s not clear how many “likes” that will get, since Christie is a Republican which automatically makes him unpopular with the Left. He also seemingly joined team Obama in the days before the election during the “superstorm” emergency, therefore that has the big guy on the outs with conservatives.
Speaking of Facebook, signs of Hillary’s 2016 campaign machine are beginning to rumble on there. A group called “Ready for Hillary” posted on the FB that a “former aide” and “former adviser” to Clinton are both involved in the efforts.
This is significant because they are referring to Allida Black and Judy Beck. Black made this odd statement yesterday as well: "This is not Hillaryland. I love Hillaryland. I was not officially part of Hillaryland; I was a volunteer. I worked with her on specific issues, which is one of the reasons why I'm so devoted to her candidacy. It's a draft movement. We want her to run, but we are not rookie volunteers."
In short, it’s on like popcorn. Hillary has her eyes on the prize. But I wonder if Hill’s will still be wearing those scary new prism glasses? They’re part Kim Jong and part Dr. Who. I’m guessing they’ll mesmerize people into becoming obedient in Hillaryland!
Okay so how do these two Facebook related stories relate? Because the early line out of Vegas for 2016 has the "in no ways tired" Hillary versus boardwalk brawling Christie main event. Part Arkansas style, part Jersey style and pure crazy sauce! Benghazi, fugazi, it’s in there!
Okay meantime it’s all guns blazing in DC. Fresh off of the President’s claim that he’s actually quite the gunslinger, Rep. Marsha Blackburn has challenged Obama to a shoot off. "I think he should invite me to Camp David, and I'll go skeet-shooting with him, and I bet I'll beat him. If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this? Why have we not seen photos? Why hasn't he referenced this at any point in time as we have had this gun debate that is ongoing?”
Whoa! Marsha get your gun but does the President really go shooting? Where’s the pictures? They would be nutzoid to see. Have you seen any? Either has WH press secretary Jay Carney who said yesterday when asked, "There may be a photo but I haven't seen it."
Well I guess Bill Maher was right after all when he said that with Obama being black, “he should have a gun down his pants”.
