On Friday, North Miami Beach police announced the apprehension of Dwayne Pryce, 18. Last month, he and two others abducted a woman outside a restaurant and sexually assaulted her, according to police.
On Jan. 16, the 26-year-old victim was picking up a take-out order from a North Miami Beach restaurant when two black males grabbed her, shoved her into the back seat of her own car and drove her to an isolated area, where they took turns raping her.
Those two suspects were later identified as Antonio Hodgson, 16, and Terry Petit-Frere, 17, and were taken into custody shortly after the crime took place.
However, surveillance footage showed a third suspect following behind the victim's car in a van. That suspect has now been identified as Pryce.
While Pryce denied any involvement, his fingerprints were found on the woman's food bag, according to court documents.
At least one of the suspect's is no stranger to the law...
NBC Miami reported:
Miami-Dade Police say Petit-Frere wasn't good at obeying rules in their jurisdiction. They have charged him with armed robbery, armed kidnapping and false imprisonment over a separate November incident that happened at the Oak Grove apartment complex at 15455 Northeast 6th Ave. in Miami-Dade.
According to the arrest affidavit, Petit-Frere and an accomplice confronted a woman as she walked to her apartment. The 17-year-old allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim, demanding property and her keys, and later forced her into the trunk of her own vehicle.
After driving to a bank, where they withdrew money from her account, police said, the teen ordered the woman to pull down her pants and underwear. She complied out of fear, and he demanded that she use her fingers to masturbate as he touched her leg, according to police.
Pryce, Hodgson and Petit-Frere have all been charged with armed sexual battery, armed robbery and kidnapping.
All three are currently being held in the Miami-Dade Corrections system without bond.
