All things are new

Venice evening
Venice evening Giovanni Tarantini

Did you know that all things are new spiritually speaking? Old things pass away and all things are new today when you declare them in Jesus name. 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.” What a great reminder that no matter what you have done or how many mistakes you have made, that they are behind you when you believe in Jesus! Amen! Jesus came to give you life so that you can live more abundantly! Life before Jesus was full of condemnation, guilt, and no hope.

The world is always ready to condemn you when you slip up or back peddle into unhealthy choices. God does not want you to keep looking back to your past because when you get stuck in the past there is no room to allow you to anticipate your amazing future. God has an amazing future and plan for you! Loved ones who mean well may unknowingly torment you with harsh reminders about who you were before Jesus. The enemy never gets tired of using family and friends to remind you of that painful past. When that happens please keep in mind that Jesus blesses you by forgiving you for all past sins and makes you new!

Get into a bible based church, and surround yourself by likeminded people who are believers and not doubters. Get ready friend to reap an amazing blessed life when Jesus is your Lord and Savior! Remind yourself God is on your side. As always stay blessed and in His favor!

I Had a Dream By: Karen Fitzpatrick

Last night I had a dream–Lord help me understand,
An angel stood at the foot of my bed with compassion in her hands.
She said that the Lord had sent her, because he heard me cry,
And wanted to assure me he was always by my side.
I reached out my hand to touch her, but then she disappeared,
But left my BIBLE opened to a verse that I hold dear.
I picked my BIBLE up and began to read out loud,
Such joy filled my heart, the words made me proud.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions;
He was bruised for our iniquities:
The chastisement of our peace was upon him;
And with his stripes we are healed.
I keep the words the angel gave me deep within my heart,
And in the morning when I awaken with this verse I start.
God made a promise through his son now it’s up to me,
to trust in the Lord, stand on his words, and completely believe.
