Wow! None of the known planets in our solar system are retrograde as of yesterday and will remain so until February 17! This hasn't been the case since last January! We humans have been waiting ever so patiently for this very point in time. But...hark! What is that I faintly see across the horizon? Way over there across the vast expanse of time and space that is glowing like shimmering flecks of gold across Neptune's sea?...an oasis, perhaps?...a vision of hope sailing smoothly away in the 'forward ho' momentum of the tide?
WHACK!
Hell no! It's just Uranus popping up out of nowhere again, hitting me broadside when I least expect it with wild, impetuous abandon and...never looking back. Thank you ever so much, Uranus, for making me realize I should have had a V-8!
Such is one example that not all is necessarily smooth sailing in planetary forward motion, alone. Astrologers have to constantly interpret the roll of the dice in planetary transit configurations (opposition, square, trine, sextile, conjunction) and how those energies APPLY to the native or situation in question.
