All new 'Original' tribute to the iconic Blues Brothers at Staller Center

The All New Original Tribute to the Blues Brothers™ has been selling out all over Europe these past few years, but Jake and Elwood Blues are now coming to Staller Center Main Stage at Stony Brook University on Sunday evening, February 26 at 7:00 p.m.

The hit show won raves in England:
"Two hours of superb tributes to blues music...Up there with the best of the blues" —Jersey Evening Post, UK.
Featuring original members from the West End run in London, the (all new) 'Original' show brings amazing favorite moments and songs the Blues Brothers are famous for, with a few new twists, a few new moves and a clean, freshly laundered suit. The Blues Brothers are joined by the sassy Bluettes and a fantastic seven-member band.

So don your Raybans and dig out your best pork pie hat because the Blues Brothers are bringing a night of the best music, the best moves and the best comedy you’re likely to see this side of Chicago. Songs include Everybody Needs Somebody to Love, Shake Ya Tail Feather, Sweet Home Chicago, Think, Respect, Gimme Some Loving, and many more.  (continued below)

* The Blues Brothers appeared on Saturday Night Live in the ‘70s. They were Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi, who “became” Jake and Elwood Blues.  They performed the era’s best blues songs joined by an incredibly accomplished working band.  The movie they made together by the same name became a classic.

™ “The Blues Brothers trademark [for entertainment services] is owned by Daniel Aykroyd and Judith Belushi Pisano”
