Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”(Galatians 3:8)

Most people are happy when receiving good news. They get even more excited when the good news is a surprise. A phone call giving a good report is encouraging. It warms the heart. Others may inform you about life situations and their expectations. These expectations were set with the anticipation of a desired result. They have a belief that the outcome will happen.

God has delivered good news through His Holy Scripture, the Bible. He told specific people about it long ago. They wrote it down and passed it along. He made the announcement about salvation and His chosen Servant. Abraham was told of how God had planned to bless him, his descendants, and the nations. People not knowing of the true and living God would one day know Him. They would by faith accept God’s Son, Jesus. They now have joy, peace, and are blessed while learning of God’s Good News.

This Good News was announced in advance, but it may surprise people that have not yet heard it. God long ago wanted as many as would to hear it. The recipient’s hearts will be warmed when they learn of God’s desired outcome. Believers can expect to live throughout eternity and can anticipate by faith being in the presence of God and His Son, Jesus. This will indeed happen and will take place.

Challenge: Believers, you are God’s messenger to the nations. You are to announce the Gospel aka Good News and live it out daily. You have a blessing to be a blessing. The favor of God rests on you to share the Message that has the outcome of saving many souls. Amen!
